If you were to take the average vacation, your vacation would be comprised of two periods of time: The "off" time is from 4am-10am and "on" time is from 10am-10pm. The first period of time is known as "preparation". The second period of time is called "recovery". The best part about the "off" time is that you're not thinking about anything. You are completely disconnected from your routine. No one has to remind you when to wake up, go to work, eat, sleep, and so on.
While the first period of time is considered to be "preparation", the second period of time is commonly referred to as "recovery".
This method of relaxation allows you to "turn off the brain", which may be very relaxing.
This type of meditation is not meant to replace traditional meditation, but rather complement it.
In the meantime, I'm taking my cannabis vacation.
I took them a few years ago, when I first started using cannabis, and they've all been great experiences.
The good news is that, while I'm on vacation, I have the opportunity to see new places, learn new things, and, perhaps most importantly, relax and recharge.
It's not easy to do when you have a full-time job, a family, and an old-fashioned commute to the office. But it's worth the effort and, in the end, you'll be more focused, creative, and energetic when you're not distracted by work or your own worries.
It's a simple but valuable truth.
My next post in this series will be about my most recent vacation—my last one to Europe. It was an experience I'll never forget, one that left me with a renewed appreciation for the freedom that cannabis can.
It is well known that people can use cannabis as a natural relaxant and even help them sleep. However, it is not just medical users who can benefit from taking cannabis. Recreational users can do the same.
The use of cannabis in recreational areas is not allowed but this is something that can be easily ignored as it is still legal. It is easy to do in places that permit medical marijuana usage.
For years, Colorado residents have traveled to Canada to take a high-THC cannabis vacation, but now, with legalization in the state, tourists will be able to do the same.
Cannabis tourism in Canada will start with one hotel in St. Catharines, Ontario, where guests will be allowed to consume cannabis without the usual fears associated with the drug.
But the hotel isn't the first to allow cannabis consumption.
The Canadian province of Alberta has allowed cannabis consumption since last June, and there's already a hotel in Prince George that allows guests to consume cannabis.
A hotel in Calgary has also recently opened up their doors to recreational cannabis consumption, and a tour operator in Toronto, who requested to remain anonymous, told VICE that they are now booking cannabis tours.
"The Canadian tourism industry is just growing and growing," the tour operator told VICE.
It's not just the medicinal users who benefit. Recreational users can get out and do something without any risk. You can get out and relax with cannabis and your friends in a safe place. If you are a medical user this can make you feel more relaxed as you can use cannabis without the fear of being arrested.
You should always be aware of what you are using and be aware of what the consequences are.
